Commissions

Please read below where I give you a more specific breakdown on how your unique and bespoke painting will come to life. I will try my best to bring your vision right onto the canvas.
Step One ~ Size
Firstly you will need to pick the size of the canvas. A tip would be to use masking tape to mark out the size of the piece to get a better feel of it in the chosen space. Have a think of the area and wall you’d like it on and whether you want it on a large impacting scale or more minimalistic. You could even have two or three small canvas’s and hang them next to each other, this is called a diptych or triptych.
Step Two ~ Style and Colour
As you can see below I have lots of different styles of painting. The colour and style is totally down to you in a commission so it can be as similar to a piece you like, a mixture, or even something new. Once you’d chosen a style, I need to know a colour scheme. You might like the colours and tones in the original so I can do my best to get it as close as possible. However if you’d like a new colour scheme it will help if you send me colour sample such as fabrics or pictures of furniture/ accessories in the room.
Step Three ~ Pricing
I price my commissions based on the time, size, and the products used ie texture paste, paints. The bigger the canvas, the more time it takes and more product I use.

Here are some standard canvas sizes I can readily use however I can source most sizes if you have a specific one in mind. I have also added a rough price range to give you an idea of costs. I have a payment plan available at no extra cost.

46x56cm-£150-£220

50x60cm -£180-£260
51x76cm -£230-£280
61x91cm -£260-£290
80x100cm £290-£320
100x100cm-£350-£450
100x120cm -£470-£590
100x150cm-£600-£750

Throughout the process, photo and video updates are shared and your feedback is incorporated into the work to make sure you’re happy with the progress.
Step Four ~ Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% will be taken to secure your art work. After the commission is complete, the remaining 50% is requested before dispatch or framing.
Step Five ~ Framing
All artwork can be delivered with or without frames.
Floating frames/ tray frames are perfect for artwork that have already been stretched over a wooden stretcher frame.
I work with a professional local framer who also runs a small business. Frames can be made in a range of colours and finishes but the most popular colours are black and white. However there are other options like gold or silver at a more premium cost. These are made from sustainable wood and give the illusion of the artwork floating inside the frame.

If you do not want it framed I can paint the edges of the canvas in a specific colour which gives the illusion of a frame.
Step Six~ Delivery
The artwork is carefully packaged up with multiple layers to ensure safe delivery. I always pick the quickest delivery to ensure your artwork isn't in transit for any longer than needed.
